3/18/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Some Clouds and Fog in mostly the Eastern regions this morning. Look for some Sunny breaks today and a temperature at or above 60 degrees. Clearing and certainly cooler tonight but Sun and upper 60’s on Friday. With 2 more days of Winter remaining finally perhaps the Cold and Cloudy weather may be loosening it’s grip. Just in time for Spring on Saturday we have some Showers and Thunder in the Forecast for Saturday afternoon and the overnight period ending on Sunday. We hit the trail outdoors early this morning but nary a critter in sight. We can however see some greening up a bit more each day and if we could add some Sun I think we’ll start shaping up shortly. On the Ham Radio very and I do mean very early this morning stations were reporting 50’s in South Alabama and my buddy in Central Florida had 62 degrees so there is warmer air out there and if the Jet Stream would wiggle around some we might start to see some of that here. Now for the facts.

We reported .02″ of Rain from the accumulated drizzle from yesterday. Some folks likely had a bit more to the South.
Temperature at 7 AM was 41 degrees after a 40 degree overnight Low. Looking for maybe 61 degrees today and in the 30’s tonight with Clearing sky’s and warmer on Friday.

Barometer is 30.05″ and Rising slowly. Look for a stable atmosphere for about 48 hours.

Humidity is 98% and we’re looking for that to fall some today as we warm up some. Dew Points will be ticking up on Saturday.

Winds are Calm early and then Northwest at 5 to 10. Trending Southwest on Friday and South on Saturday.

Sky is Mostly Cloudy but some Clearing today and especially tonight. Sun on Friday as Friday looks to be the most Sunny day this week.

The Summary, Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Calm wind becoming north northwest between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42. Calm wind.

Today may see some improvement so hang in there. Have a good one.
