3/23/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Clouds and Cool but certainly not Cold this morning. Those Clouds thin out today and we expect to see some Sun and a High of 65 degrees. Clear but Mild tonight with a Low in the 40 to 42 range. Sunny Wednesday and Rain Thursday. We’re looking at a pattern of Rain every few days but that’s Spring here in Middle Tennessee. Temperature Wise the days are going to be in the 60’s and Nights running in the 40’s for the remainder of the week. With a few Sunny days tossed in there and certainly enough Rain your Lawn should be recovering nicely from our tough Icy Winter just passed. Outdoors this morning it may not look very Springlike but the signs are there. The Songbirds are singing away for there mates. Love is in the air I think. The grass along the trail is growing rapidly now although there are numerous brown patches that we’re waiting on to catch up. My little dog “Missy” has been with us one year today. We rescued her from the Dog Pound and we don’t know her exact Birthday but March 23 is the day we got her and she’s according to her Vet 2 years old now. Her longing to be outdoors is what actually started the daily trek that became The “Puppy Dog Trail.” It’s hard to believe she’s been here a year and we have braved some weird weather this past year. Now for the facts.

We reported .03″ of Rain to the CoCoRaHs folks. Mostly from light sprinkles yesterday and last night.
Temperature at 7AM was 41 degrees. That’s about normal and we expect to hit the 65 degree mark today, about 3 degrees above normal.

Barometer is 30.00″ and struggling to Rise. We will have increasing and then stable pressure until Thursday.

Humidity is 90% and hopefully some Sun will dry out the lower atmosphere and the West Wind isn’t pulling much moisture for the time being.

Wind is West at 4 mph this morning and will remain West at 5 to 10 today. We will see a Southwest trend later on Wednesday and that will begin to supply some moisture in advance of a approaching Front on Thursday.

Sky is Overcast this morning but will be Partly Cloudy later or as I prefer to look at it, Partly Sunny. Wednesday should be fully Sunny and the best day this week.

The Summary, Today: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 65. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. Calm wind.

It’s dreary and muddy this morning but the Sun’s gonna shine later and Wednesday will be a winner. Have a good day.
