3/27/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Sunny but Cool this Saturday Morning. We anticipate a High near the 70 degree mark but windy conditions will likely make it feel cooler. Plenty of Sun today but Clouds later and Rain and maybe Stormy on Sunday. Next week once we get past Monday which will still have some clouds and showers remaining from our Sunday weather, the remainder of the work week at least looks to be Sunny and warmer. By about Thursday it’s looking like upper 70’s for the Highs. After Friday our atmosphere will be primed for some Springtime severe weather however so we’ll be on the look out. But for now we have a pretty but breezy Saturday and on the trek this morning we checked out our Maple trees and it looks like they are running much later this year but there are buds starting to try at least too produce leaves. The grasses are growing in clumps but the clumps are getting closer and closer so while the mowing season is likely starting a couple of weeks later than usual it will not be long now. By about next Thursday I think a lot of folks will be starting the Mowers. Us included although we need to do a bit of Springtime Annual Maintenance first. Now for the facts.

We are not reporting any precipitation for the 24 hour period.
Temperature at 7AM was a chilly 39 degrees. That was the Low last night as well. We most likely hit 68 or so here but some folks in warmer spots will come closer to the 70 mark. Look for low 50’s tonight with Rain developing and only low 60’s for Sundays High.

Barometer is 30.10″ and Steady now. Looking for a dip tonight as more unstable weather approaches but by Sunday night we start a rise in pressure that will be the strongest most stable period we have had lately.

Humidity is 80% and upper levels are juicing up on the Southerly wind. The strong wind and Sun at ground levels will continue to dry the Soil today however.

Wind is Blowing Southerly and 12 mph now with 14 mph gust. This may increase more today and into Sunday. The Northwest Shift Sunday night behind the Front will finally ease up the wind but still look for 10 to 15 mph. Wind is just a factor of Spring around here.

Sky is Mostly Clear with a few Cirrus Clouds here and there. Increasing Clouds later today and Clouds and Overcast for Sunday.

The Summary for this weekend, Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. South southeast wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Tonight: A slight chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 54. South southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Sunday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 62. Southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Sunday Night: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 44. Northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Sun today and Rain tomorrow, sure wish it was less windy but we are looking forward to next weeks warm up. Have a great weekend. Tomorrow is Palm Sunday and we will look forward to seeing you in Church.
