3/31/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

A cool but Sunny start for a very Sunny Day with a quick warm up look for 78 degrees today and mid 40’s tonight. Thursday more Sun and 80 degrees is a very real possibility. Fair weather continues until Saturday afternoon. Our warm spell will likely culminate in a round of Strong Storms Saturday night but that Front looks to be a fast mover and Sunday may be at least partly Sunny and 70 plus degrees. Next week looks to start off on a Fair weather track as well but all that is a bit far off at this point. Outdoors this morning we have dry firm ground and growing grass. I was out late last night and came home in time to catch a few Rabbits scurrying around the front yard. This morning my little dog “Missy” was all over those Bunny trails and wanting to chase Rabbits. I don’t know what she would do with one if she caught it. The Trees continue to make up time from their late start and there is no shortage of Pollen in the air. There is also a Warning from the Forestry folks this morning and it seems our lowering Humidity and Wind has more than done it’s job and there is a elevated threat for Fire Danger. A good deal of Middle Tennessee is under a Red Flag Warning so be careful with outdoor burning. Now for those facts.

No Precipitation for the period.
Temperature at 7AM was 39 degrees but Rising quickly into the mid 40’s and topping out near but likely just short of 80 degrees. If you are out in the direct sun at 3 PM it will be 80 or more but we don’t measure temperature that way. Thursday we will exceed 80.

Barometer is 30.05″ and Rising now. It took a wobble yesterday for some reason and actually dropped a bit but we are heading up now. Must have been a upper air thing or something.

Humidity is 80% after the over night dew but the air is dry and Humidity will be very low today through Friday.

Wind is Southeast at 3 mph. Holding generally southerly and low wind speeds today.

Sky is Clear and look for a Sunny day. Clear tonight and Thursday as well.

The Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 78. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 48. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming south southwest between 5 and 10 mph.

Really nice out there so get some Sun the Vitamin D will do you some good.
