4/12/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Sun and Clear Sky this morning and after a cool 42 degree start we warm to at or near 80 degrees this afternoon. A light 5 mph East Wind today will trend Southerly Tuesday and then yet another fine warm Spring day. About 48 deg. overnight. The remainder of the work week looks Sunny and Warm but some Shower chances creep in by the week end. For the moment those Shower chances don’t appear to be very significant. The National Weather Service is of the opinion that we’ll not have any more Frost this Season and I guess a lot of folks will be planting this week. I’m not sure it’s safe to put out your Tomato’s yet but looking forward I don’t see any Cold air coming this way and the month of April is slipping away. Outdoors here this morning the doggies and I made our way with thick grass and heavy dew this morning. We have a lot of mowing to do this week. From the sound of things the Chickens got up late today, I guess they had a hard week end. The Pollen seems to have let up a bit but I’m not sure that battle is over. Now lets look at the facts.

We have no precipitation to report and so far here at least only .46 for the Month. That’s dry for April which is usually one of our wetter months. One good heavy Thundershower could change that so not to worry yet.

Temperature at 7AM is 42 degrees. Quickly warming to about 80 this afternoon. Tonight about 48 degrees. Later this week our nights rise into the mid 50’s.

Barometer is 30.35″ and Steady. The pressure has remained about the same all weekend. We may see a slight brief dip today as a mostly dry Frontal passage slips by.

Humidity is 90% but will be dropping as the dew dries off and we warm up. The daytime humidity is running on the Low side so if you do put in some plants be prepared to water them.

Wind is Calm early but East at about 5 mph or less today. Trending Southerly for Tuesday.

Sky is Clear and will be for the most part today and Tuesday. Perhaps a few scattered Cumulus this evening as a Front passes.

The Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 80. East wind around 5 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 48. Calm wind.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 50. Calm wind.

Looking like a Sunny week. Maybe a bit less Wind this week and maybe a break from the Pollen even though the Pollen Counts are still Forecast to be in the Heavy Range. Have a great day.
