4/17/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

What a difference a day makes. Cool and Clouds but dry so far. Still hoping for a Shower but our Dry Air is making it difficult. Shower chances end this afternoon High in Low 70’s or upper 60’s. Sun and Cool on Sunday. Cool on Monday also with upper 60’s and Lower 40’s spread. Some folks may worry about a Frost chance at night but I don’t think it’ll be that cool. Outdoors this morning it’s not uncomfortably cool but not what we got used too. It’s just me and Missy today Benji stayed home and little Sophie is playing with her toys. We ran off a Possum and scared some Rabbits and generally renewed our claim to the property. We missed one day and the critters are taking over. No dew thanks to a low Humidity and the wind. I’m afraid we may have to wait another week for some more Rain chances. Now for the facts.

No Rain to report as of 7AM. Nothing but dust in our gauge.
Temperature is 55 deg. at 7AM. Going to be cool for a few days but actually closer to seasonal normals.

Barometer is 30.05″ and Steady now. We should see some increase in Pressure tomorrow. The Cold Front is just to our North.

Humidity is 80% here on the ground but not nearly enough in the upper atmosphere. We may not get more than a few Sprinkles out of this Cold Front.

Wind has Shifted North and is 5 mph at observation. Look to keep the North Wind for a couple of days.

Sky is Mostly Cloudy this morning but some Sun is possible later today. Sunday should have more Sun than Clouds.

The Summary, Today: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 68. North northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.

We are having a Spell of Dry Weather that’s unusual for this time of year. The Volcano in Iceland is putting a lot of ash in the atmosphere that will likely impact weather to some extent World Wide. Wacky Weather, Earthquakes, and Volcano’s. Seems like God Warned us about all this. I’ll be looking for you in Church on Sunday. Have a great weekend.
